THF Therapy offers a range of talking therapies and complementary practices designed to enable you to live a healthier and more balanced life.

We know that it is not always easy to talk about your problems or express your feelings, so what matters most is finding a way of being with you that provides help and support while you explore the challenges and anxieties of your world.

We each work with individuals and couples of any age and from any background. Our rooms are comfortable and private, and the time is yours to think and talk about yourself and what you are experiencing, whether it relates to your personal life, your relationships, your work or social life. An emphasis on integrity and confidentiality is central to our work.

Psychotherapy and Counselling

Life at any age can become challenging, frightening or confusing. Some of the causes may arise from recent events, or they may have deeper-rooted origins. Either way, psychotherapy and counselling are talking therapies that offer you a safe and confidential place to explore what makes you ‘you’, how you experience your unique life, and how you relate to the world and to those around you.

Life Coaching

The principle behind coaching is that we each have the resources within ourselves to achieve whatever we want in our life. However, sometimes, we don’t know how to tap into that knowledge and understanding of what is right for our own life as it changes and evolves. Life Coaching helps you to see who you are now and where you want to be and how you plan to get there. The past is only relevant in how it affects your path forward.

You will be exploring your thought patterns, your limiting beliefs, your strengths, passions and framework.  Together we will look at all the tools available to you, and you will decide how dynamic you want your life to be and what you want to achieve.  You will be creating your own guidance system for your own life.

Reiki

Sometimes, we feel blocked by our own emotions and issues and although we want to sort ourselves out we can’t even begin to find the words to explain how we feel to someone else. Reiki is a system of natural healing which can help you be more aware of difficult emotions without having to find those words.

The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is considered vital to well-being. The well being of a person can be explained as a clear flowing energy throughout them. Reiki sits alongside other complementary therapies such as Acupuncture, T’ai chi and Yoga, which are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person
